One of the highlights of the day is the visit to Palácio da Pena, an astonishing fairytale castle located on one of the highest peaks of the Sintra mountain range. Here you’ll experience a majestic and romantic atmosphere and enjoy the most amazing combination of architectural styles, colours and shapes that you can find in Portugal.

Then we will  2 wineries in  the Colares region. Located between Sintra mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. The Colares region has been an Appellation Origin since 1908, being the westernmost demarcated region of continental Europe and the smallest still-wine producing region in Portugal. Here you will get to know ungrafted and pre-phyloxera vines, unique grape varieties (Ramisco and Malvasia), unusual deep sandy soils, where even the philoxera bug couldn’t thrive to affect the vineyards.
